Eucharist Ministry volunteers provide a essential service of supporting the Kaiser Permanente mission by providing communion and prayer for patients in the hospital

How to become a volunteer

 
 

1. Complete Volunteer Application Form

Fill out the online application below. All volunteers must have an email that is regularly checked.


2. Interview

This step is done through the church or program that sponsors Eucharist Ministry Volunteers.

3. Background Check and Health Screening

Kaiser Permanente requires all volunteers to complete a Health Screen. Adults 18 or older, you must have a background check. This process will be done after the interviews.


4. Volunteer On-boarding

As a new volunteer, you will participate in New Volunteer Orientation and training. All volunteers must agree to follow the hospital’s standards of behavior. On-going trainings are provided both in-person and online.
