Summer Students

KPNW Clinic Volunteer Program

The 2026 Summer Student program will run June 15th, 2025 - August 21st, 2026

High school and college students must commit to a set shift 2x/week during this summer session. Shifts are between 2-4 hours.

Program Minimum Requirements

  • Students must be 16 years of age or older when applying for this summer volunteer opportunity.

  • Students in high school and college are eligible to apply for this summer volunteer opportunity.

  • Must be able to meet all mandatory meetings, trainings, and weekly shifts in order to participate.

  • Must be able to volunteer twice a week for the duration of the summer session.

  • All students must complete a Health Screen for documentation of vaccines and negative TB blood test; students age 18+ must complete a background check.

To be accepted to the program, students must attend one virtual group interview session on one of the following dates/times:

  • April 15th, 2026: 3:45pm - 4:30pm

  • April 20th, 2026: 3:45pm - 4:30pm

  • April 24th, 2026: 3:45pm - 4:30pm

Once accepted into the program, all students must complete a background and/or health screening, and online education modules before May 30th. These steps take multiple weeks, and we advise students start the process immediately after their interview is complete. Students who turn 18 while volunteering will be asked to complete a background check.

Students must attend one virtual new volunteer orientation on one of the following dates/times:

  • May 21st, 2026: 3:45pm - 4:45pm

  • May 27th, 2026: 3:45pm - 4:45pm

  • May 29th, 2026: 3:45pm - 4:45pm
